MTS Celebrates 30th Anniversary in Style Print

On December 05, 2009, the National Maintenance Training and Security Company Ltd (MTS) celebrated its 30th Anniversary as a successful State Enterprise by ‘feteing’ its employees at the Centrum Auditorium, Centre Pointe Mall in Chaguanas. Employees with 30 years service were rewarded for loyalty and dedication with flat screen television sets.

The 30 longest serving employees received additional recognition for their unstinting service to the Company and were aptly serenaded by the Lord Relator. The audience was also treated to the melodious singing of soloist Bruce Greenidge, the signature repertoire of the inimitable Lord Relator (who also did an ex-tempo tribute to MTS) and breathtaking pantomime by Entertainment Theatre Company – N.A. Productions Ltd., depicting the history of the Company.

CEO Lennox Rattansingh recounted MTS’ developmental journey while Chairman Peter Forde described MTS at ‘30’ as a stable, viable entity with tremendous potential and capacity to overcome any challenge. Councilor Dr. Anselm London brought resounding greetings on behalf of the THA. Line Minister (Ministry of Works and Transport), Honourable Colm Imbert was represented by Parliamentary Secretary NiLeung Hypolite who delivered the Feature Address.

The delightful evening ended with a sumptuous dinner and dancing. A grand time was had by all.
